From whipping up local and international cuisines to sharing her morning and evening routines, shopping sprees, and romantic date nights with her mysterious partner, Akoko does it all.
She’s especially known for her cooking videos, in which her son often steals the show by munching on tomatoes while keeping her company in the kitchen.
Can you eat octopus?
In one of her most recent videos, the expert home chef surprised fans after preparing seafood for dinner.
However, this was not your usual salmon or tuna; it was octopus, and yes, you read that right.
Akoko documented the entire process, from cleaning the raw octopus to plating it beautifully for her family to enjoy.
She began by dipping it in boiling water, causing the tentacles to curl up dramatically.
After boiling, which left behind a pinkish soup, she seasoned the octopus with her favourite spices before shallow frying it to perfection.
She served the unexpected dish with sautéed potatoes.
"Sunday evening routine. Made octopus, and my gang said 20/20," she captioned her video.
The unfamiliar meal, not commonly served in most Kenyan homes, sparked a flood of reactions in her comment section.
Some viewers were horrified by the idea, while others joked that poverty had saved them from developing expensive or foreign tastes.
