George attended the wedding of one of his friends, whom he refers to as Brown.

He rocked a white kanzu while attending the Muslim wedding and introduced himself as the president's son.

Kenyans wondered why George did not use the family surname.

"As-Salaam Alaikum. I am George Kimutai. I am great friends with Brown. I call him that because he is so light. We have known each other for a long time, and I am happy to be invited here,'' he shared.

George was delighted to receive wedding gifts from the family. However, he was surprised by the cultural change; in this community, guests are given gifts.

"This is the first week with these people, and I have learned that guests are given gifts. In this community, not everyone likes you, but our mzee is your good friend, and he loves being with you. You contribute significantly to our country in general, politically and even more importantly, the business community," he said.

When will George Ruto marry?

The young man noted that he was not yet married, so he could not give his friend Brown any advice.

He promised to invite the family to his wedding although he did not share the specifics.

"I am yet to marry, so I cannot give you any advice, Brown, but you will be invited to my wedding," he added.

Some netizens were amused that the young man does not identify himself as George Ruto but rather as George Kimutai.
