Jackie Matubia Claims Blessing Lung’aho Didn't Help with House Bills: “I Got Irritated"

When Jackie Matubia and Blessing Lung'aho split up, rumours spread that she had kicked him out of her house.

He had moved into Jackie's house, and the actress, in an interview with Galston Anthony, opened up about financing the relationship.
"Rumour has it that you got into a relationship you were financing," Galston told Jackie.
Did Jackie finance her relationship with Blessing?
The actress recalled when she got pregnant with her youngest daughter, Zendaya.
"The deal breaker for us, or rather, I wasn’t ready for my second child. For Zari, I knew I wanted this child. If you would have asked me at that time, I would have told you the tunnel is so dark. I was feeling free like a ho-phase. At that time I was like, okay, this is a guy who listens to me. In between all that, I got pregnant," she said.
Jackie said that Blessing convinced her to keep the baby despite his financial situation.
"You know when someone starts lowering their guard, you’re like, yeah… we can do it without. I cried for a whole week when I was told I was pregnant. When I came to him, I told him I was pregnant and I wanted to get rid of the pregnancy. I never thought of having another baby," she said,
Her mother also advised her to keep the pregnancy.
“I called my mum and she told me God will always provide, and I don’t know what kind of blessings this child is going to bring,” she shared.
When they both decided to keep the baby, they agreed to move in together. The actor was to take care of the rent while she would take care of the other bills around the house.
“We saw our finances are not doing well, so let’s move in together. That’s when we moved in together. So he came to my house. He moved into my house. I told him to take care of the rent, and I will take care of these other things as we try to… you have a brand, I will help you bring it out there as a couple we will try to figure it out," Jackie said.
When did Jackie decide to leave Blessing?
Jackie was hopeful that Blessing would grow in the social media space and eventually start earning money from it.
During her second pregnancy, Jackie realised Blessing was allegedly lying about his finances.
He was claiming that he wasn’t getting paid for certain gigs.
“Later in my pregnancy was when I started seeing a lot of red flags. Now you are living with someone, and it’s easier for someone to lie to you when you don’t live together. When you are living together, okay, you got this show, it’s a big show, what do you mean you haven’t been paid? It got to a place where I was like no, it’s too much. I started focusing on myself,” she said.
The mother of two realised that Blessing did not care for her or her kids.
”When I gave birth, I went home and he is like ‘the gas is done, the nanny needs money for the gas.’ Such things started irritating me. Normally, before the child, I was like, okay, he will get his finances right. I was like, can’t he see you are the ones at home? I realised, oh my God, if I don’t send this money, my other child is going to sleep hungry. I realised it’s not about money, he just does not care," she dded.
Did Jackie try co-parenting with Blessing?
In other news, the actress opened up to parenting with her ex, Blessing.
She recalled reaching out to him, and Blessing thought she wanted him back.
Jackie recounted how she used to drive to where he was to ask him to have a relationship with his child.
