The family and friends of the late preacher held a powerful celebration service to mark one year since his death.

What did Jeremy Kiuna say about his father?

Jeremy shared a touching speech that left mourners in tears as he described the kind of man that his dad was, disclosing he once told him he would leave all his wealth and move to an apartment if God asked him to.

He also noted that the late was very proud of his mum and wife, Kathy Kiuna, and he is watching from heaven and marveling at her.

"He was so proud of you. I spend a lot of time with my mother, in prayer and certain things and all I can say is he is so proud of you. I know he's watching and saying, 'Man! That's the woman I raised,'" he said.

Kathy Kiuna's son reveals he's found a wife

The young man also revealed that he had found the woman of his dreams, saying that when he found her, he hoped she would love God like his mum.

"I wasn't gonna bring this up, but I remember the first time I said I don't have a girlfriend, but now I have found a wife, Lord has been good. I remember when I found her, I asked God can she be like my mother, can she love like my mother. And it wasn't about loving me like my mum, it was about the way mum loves God. One of the things I told mum is that God is your friend and He keeps telling me, 'tell her I will take care of her'," he said.

Jeremy thanked his parents for giving him an amazing father, saying he also got to see the example of a husband in his father.

He broke down, noting that Allan was his best friend, saying it was tough to see him through the four years of struggle before death.

He joked that his father would be the first person he told if he ever killed someone, showing the close relationship and trust they had.

He said he watched and admired his dad, and he unintentionally became more like him.

What did Stephanie Kiuna say about her late dad?

Earlier, Kiuna's daughter, Stephanie, penned an emotional tribute to remember her dad, with a long post on her Instagram.

Stephanie also shared a video showing one of their last moments together, during the Christmas holidays in 2023, as they shared a chat.

She said it's been a year of learning to live without a piece of her heart, but happy to have spent time with him, not knowing it would be her last.

Stephanie, an architecture graduate, said they would often chat about designs and properties. She added that her father knew how to connect with each of his children on a deeply personal level.
