The celebrity was a radio presenter at NRG Radio before she announced that she was quitting her job.

Many waited to hear where she was moving to, with anticipations that she was set to get back on the airwaves at a new station.

What did King Kalala tell her parents after quitting radio?

In an interview, Kalala recalled how she had to ask her parents to support her and give her time to get herself together.

"I had to tell my parents there was a problem somewhere. They ended up paying rent for me, which was building up to KSh 100,000. I was like, I am not going back to the village. You guys just pay the rent, but give me like five minutes. But I am not going to lie, quitting my job was a lot. But eventually, it requires you to show up or go to the village," she said.

She currently hosts a podcast, 3 Truths, No Lies, alongside Frankie JustGymIt and Ugandan socialite Christine Nampeera.

Why did Kalala's dad kick her out?

Elsewhere, Kalala appeared on a TV interview where she warned women against having children before they are ready and then having to ask others for financial support.

The radio host expressed her belief that a woman should be financially, emotionally, mentally, and physically prepared before having a child.
