The Trans Nzoia senator married his longtime lover, Chanelle Kittony, and held their engagement ceremony on Saturday, July 12.
Chesang and Chanelle, the granddaughter of veteran politician Zipporah Kittony, held their engagement ceremony in Trans Nzoia. The colourful event was attended by the who's who of Kenya.
Netizens took to social media to poke fun at Dem wa Facebook, who previously publicly declared her love for the hunk senator, asking him for a date, and below is what they said:

Did Allan Chesang's dad attend his wedding?
The senator's family was present at the wedding and spoke highly of their son.
Chesang's father, while addressing guests, assured his in-laws that their daughter would be well-treated.
"He’ll take care of your daughter, that one is a true man. I want to tell Allan right now you are a grown-up. I got married at 16 years old, you see right now my kids are abroad and they send me money on the weekends. Gen Z’s msiwahi chelewa muoleke (Don't be late when it comes to marrying). So Chantel, you know many people don’t know yeye ni waziri because she’s a girl who keeps to herself. You have gotten a very good wife and a CECM in Trans Nzoia. Zipporah, on the other hand, pampered her granddaughter with love, describing her as humble. She urged Chesang to take good care of her.
"I want you to look after this child very well. She is very humble hana maneno (and a lady of a few words). Sitaki kesho uniambie alifanya hii. Lakini akifanya kuja sema," she said.
How did Dem wa Facebook react after Allan Chesang got married?
The witty comedienne and content creator has shared her views after the politician got married.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Dem wa Facebook denied having feelings for the senator, saying everything she said and they did was purely for content creation. She shared that Chesang is her boss and she is well known to his wife as well.
"Chesang ni boss wangu and I respect that. Chanelle too is my friend hii mambo ya crush it was for comedy, nothing serious," she told TUKO.co.ke.
Asked how she felt after the hunk senator married Chanelle, a rich kid, she said:
"They're both my friends."
The award-winning content creator, just like the majority of Kenyans, congratulated the newlyweds.
"Congratulations, my boss, may God bless his marriage," she said.
