The singer's soulful and Afrobeat-infused performance stole the show at MetLife Stadium's inaugural halftime performance.
The Grammy winner teamed up with Doja Cat and Emmanuel Kelly to perform for a massive crowd of 82,000+ at the Chelsea-PSG final, watched by millions globally.

What did Tems say about FIFA World Cup opportunity?
Ahead of her performance, Tems stated:
“We’re going to bring the world together for a beautiful moment to celebrate football, feel the unity that music brings, and improve the lives of millions of children through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.”
This was not Tems' first appearance at a Global Citizen event; she previously performed at the 2022 Global Citizen Festival in Accra, Ghana, further solidifying her status as a global icon who uses her platform for social impact.
Colombian artiste J Balvin, who was also part of the lineup, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity:
“From Medellín to MetLife – I’m honoured to headline the first-ever halftime show of the FIFA Club World Cup final. It’s a historic moment for me, for Latin culture, and for every kid who dreams big.”
The expanded 2025 edition of the FIFA Club World Cup featured 32 teams from all continental confederations and was staged across 11 US cities from June 14 to July 13.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino praised the music partnership, calling it a “powerful symbol of unity and purpose,” while emphasising the social impact of the initiative.
He said:
“Together, we are going to make history on a special occasion where football and music unite the world. Not only will this show be unforgettable, but with every ticket sold, we’re investing in the future of children through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.”
How did FIFA World Cup final end?
Chelsea surprised everyone and silenced their critics with a stellar performance.
The Blues won the prestigious title after beating PSG 3-0, with Chelsea's Cole Palmer scoring two goals, before the new signing Jao Pedro scored a beautiful third goal to send Chelsea to glory.
Notably, US President Donald Trump was one of the fans at the Chelsea versus Paris Saint-Germain game.
