Citizen TV journalist Ayub Abdikadir interviewed firebrand Canadian-based Kenyan lawyer Miguna Miguna on Sunday, July 13.

This might be one of the memorable interviews for the media personality in his career; Miguna is known for his hard tackles on journalists interviewing him, and one has to research well before facing him because he doesn't entertain 'cheap' questions.

Ayub faced Miguna and performed well, but that didn't stop the lawyer from challenging some of his questions and knocking down the ones he felt were unnecessary.

For instance, when Ayub asked him if he had failed to read through President William Ruto's pledges when he hailed his manifesto in June 2022, Miguna described the question as the most ridiculous one he has ever been asked; he explained he couldn't know Ruto would "betray" his manifesto.
Miguna's hard tackle against Ayub Abdikadir
In another instance making rounds on social media, Miguna told Ayub he doesn't suffer from memory loss:
"Unlike you, Ayub, I don't suffer from memory loss and I have not forgotten what I told you at the beginning of this interview.... You're reading a tweet from 2022. Ayub, you are the character that Voltaire was talking about with respect to distortion... When Ruto launched his campaign, the manifesto was good... If I praised a manifesto that was published, which was actually positive, I am being correct...
"Are you God? Cold you have foretold that Ruto was going to...people in 2024 and 2025? You have to be completely ridiculously to have asked that question," Miguna claimed.

Why did Miguna Miguna warn Kenyans against Matiang'i?
During the interview, Miguna took jibes at Matiang'i, who recently revealed he would be vying for the presidency.
The Canada-based politician alleged that the former Interior Cabinet secretary disobeyed court orders and went ahead to deport him.
Miguna said Matiang'i is not an option for replacing President William Ruto in the coming General Election.
He opined that the presidential candidate abused power during his tenure as the Interior CS.
He insisted that if Kenyans want to transform the country, they shouldn't entertain characters like Matiang'i.
Miguna shared Matiang'i's alleged flaws, including extrajudicial killings that happened during his time as the CS.
Miguna's remarks elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans, with some echoing his sentiments and Matiang'i's supporters differing with him.
