The tragic news was confirmed on Tuesday, July 15, by his close friend and fellow content creator, who took to social media to share the heartbreaking announcement.

"We are heartbroken to announce the sudden demise of Zakaria Kariuki, a.k.a Mr KK Mwenyewe. He passed away yesterday evening while undergoing medical attention at Kiambu Level 5 Hospital. During this sad moment, we ask for support and prayers for the family and friends. May God give us strength during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace."
In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, his close friend Kafengo confirmed the news and promised to share more details about his death.
A second source revealed that Mr KK was not known to have a wife or children, and had recently been experiencing chest complications.
