The funnyman, who rose to prominence through his budget-friendly skits, passed away while receiving treatment at Kiambu Level 5 Hospital, according to a close friend who confirmed the news on July 15.
KK was best known for his funny and accurate impersonations of former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, alias Riggy G.
His skits became so popular that they even got him interviews on major TV stations.
Following his untimely demise, fans have flooded his social media platforms, reliving some of his most iconic clips that captured Gachagua’s distinctive tone, style, and quirky remarks.
In honour of his legacy, TUKO.co.ke has compiled five memorable moments when KK cracked up the nation as Riggy G.
1. KK as Riggy G reacting to Ivy Chelimo’s appointment
In 2022, the nickname Riggy G was coined by Ivy Chelimo.
When the real Gachagua later gave her a job, KK created a hilarious skit imagining Riggy G acknowledging the young woman.
He also commented on Gachagua promising to look for him as he did Chelimo.
With his usual hilarious delivery, he mimicked Gachagua saying:
"Let me tell you and take this to the bank, I am a man of my word. When I say something, I mean it because I am a truthful man… I’m going to track that young man and when I get him, he is going to come into my office."
The clip became an instant hit and revealed that KK had a dream to meet Gachagua.
2. KK’s imaginary Ruto-Gachagua conversation after impeachment
When Gachagua was ousted in 2024, KK wasted no time imagining a satirical conversation between the former DP and President William Ruto.
In the skit, KK mimicked Gachagua protesting emotionally:
"Sasa wewe Rais umesema uko na roho ngumu kuliko Firauni… kusema tu hapana guza Murima ndio inafanya usamehe? Mimi nimefanyia wewe nini?"
3. Gachagua’s Italy trip
In another popular skit, KK parodied a speech by Gachagua where he spoke about his experiences in Italy.
KK infused the speech with his trademark exaggeration, joking that Italians grow maize in the air and their cows give birth every two weeks.
His over-the-top descriptions left fans in stitches.
4. Riggy G advises Gen Zs after 2024 protests
Shortly after the 2024 anti-government protests led by Gen Z, KK returned with a skit imagining Gachagua addressing the youth and urging dialogue.
He edited the skit to include a real clip of Gachagua promising to find and meet him, a wish that, sadly, never came true.
5. KK responds to viral dancing video of Gachagua
When a video surfaced of Gachagua dancing with a beautiful woman at a local joint, KK released a skit pretending to address the criticism head-on in classic 'truthful' Riggy G style.
"Good people, I have seen people trying to spread my video dancing… my spouse has no problem with it. I was dancing with a daughter from the mountain," KK said in the sketch, leaving viewers roaring with laughter.
Did KK believe his dressing kept him from meeting Gachagua?
In one of his clips, KK shared that some of his friends believed the reason Gachagua had not reached out to him might have been due to his on-screen wardrobe.
"They told me maybe Riggy G didn’t invite me because of the way I dress in those oversized coats. They said if I tried a clean, fitting suit, he might change his mind," KK narrated.
