Former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua has rubbed many influencers the wrong way with his heartfelt tribute to the fallen comedian KK Mwenyewe.

The entertainer's death was confirmed on Tuesday, July 15, after he was hospitalised.
KK, who became famous for imitating Gachagua, had previously expressed interest in meeting him.
What did Gachagua say about KK Mwenyewe?
He claimed that the politician's team had reached out to him, but a meeting never materialised.
Gachagua described KK as an exceptional content creator and an inspiration to many.
He noted that KK was a consistent and resilient young man who used humour to deliver thoughtful and relatable messages to Kenyans, often speaking directly to the hearts of the people.
He extended his deepest condolences to KK’s family, friends, and the entire creative industry, saying they had lost a true champion whose creative vision would live on.

Why did influencers tell of Gachagua?
