Ailing celebrity barber Kitiki Sam has shared a worrying message with fans.

Sam, whose real name is Samuel Kilonzo, has been battling stage 3 stomach cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.

How barber Kitiki Sam's life changed

The illness has affected Sam greatly; he has since lost weight tremendously, drained him financially and forced him out of his work as a barber in Mombasa.

Sam now lives at his sister's place in Nairobi as he continues receiving treatment.

He is hopeful that he will be back on his feet, and this is the prayer that his fans have for him.

Kitiki Sam's worrying online post

In his new post on TikTok, he worried fans by revealing that he was mentally drained.

According to Sam, he is on the verge of giving up.

"I just want to let everyone know that I'm mentally drained and honestly feel like giving up. On top of everything, I'm not feeling well physically either. I'm sick and it has made everything heavier," he wrote.

Many fans took to the comment section to encourage him with Bible verses and wish him well.

Kitiki Sam appeals for help

Two weeks ago, the barber spoke to TUKO.co.ke and revealed he was raising KSh 300,000 to meet his medical bill.

According to him, he had already exhausted his savings to cover some part of it.
