Their wedding took place at Safari Park Hotel, and the lawyer arrived at the venue with a chopper.

Nearly five years later, Jakakimba has released a statement regarding their separation titled 'statement regarding marriage separation'.
"After careful consideration and much reflection, we - Silas Jakakimba and Florence Adhiambo, have made the difficult but certain and oftentimes extremely considerate decision to separate," he shared.
He disclosed that the decision was mutual between him and his wife, albeit difficult. The two came to the decision with mutual respect and understanding.

Jakakimba also acknowledged their families as their pillar of support and strength.
"This decision was reached mutually and, with respect for one another, noting with deep appreciation and gratitude, the immense love and support from both sides of our Innermost Families and Spiritual Leaders as we sought to make this decision public," he said.
The lawyer asked for privacy as they navigated the separation.
"We remain fully committed to maintaining the privacy and well-being of our family during this transition. We ask that our privacy be respected as we navigate this personal matter," he shared.
Jakakimba noted that they would not be conducting any interviews regarding the matter.
"We will not be making any further public statements whatsoever regarding this matter at this or, at any other time - and we do appreciate your understanding. We thank you. Silas Jakakimba & Florence Adhiambo," he added.
