Samidoh and Karangu have been pals for a while, and Samidoh's recent chants at his concerts have been taken as playful banter.

During one of his concerts, the musician playfully referred to Karangu as 'Maraya,' which has left him feeling hurt.

What did Karangu tell Samidoh?

Earlier in the year, Karangu experienced negative criticism after Kenyans learned that he had abandoned his first wife.

Karangu wrote a heartfelt message to Samidoh via Facebook, asking him to stop referring to him as Maraya.

The philanthropist noted that the nickname hurt him, and it was becoming a bit much.

"To my brother Samidoh HSC, I respect you, but too much of something is poisonous... I just feel that you are now overdoing. Please, sir, hiyo mambo ya kuniita "Maraya' you should stop bro It's hurting," he said.

He also shared a video of Samidoh referring to him as Maraya. In the clip, Samidoh said:

"So you’re saying Karangu is a womanizer? Do you even know who you’re talking about? That man who always wears a turban? The one with that little potbelly full of money? You’re calling him a womanizer?"

The musician, who was performing in the UK at the time, funnily asked his fans whether he should look for Karangu when he travels back to Kenya.

"So you’re telling me that when I return to Kenya, I should look for Karangu and tell him that people in the UK are calling him a womaniser? And if he gets mad at you, he should book a flight and come beat you up himself? Now that you’ve found another womaniser, can you just leave me alone? Samidoh is not a womaniser," he said.
