Wanja congratulated George on launching his latest matatu, which he named Mood.
"Let me take this moment to congratulate Captain George Ruto on the launch of his new matatu, MOOD, a vibrant and bold addition to Nairobi’s public transport culture. It’s youthful, expressive, and daring, just like him and the Gen Zs," she said.
What did George Ruto do for job seekers?
The businesswoman said that she had interacted with the president's son on a deeper level, saying that George had quiet strength.
She hailed him for being a jack of many trades. The president's son holds a degree in Computer Science and subsequently studied aviation in the UK.
"But for me, it’s deeper. I’ve interacted with George in the aviation sector, he’s a licensed pilot. I’ve seen his passion for flying, his love for football, and his quiet strength. He doesn’t make noise, he moves with purpose," she said.
Wanja recalled when she posted job opportunities for Kenyans to apply in Dubai, and she claims that the president's son reached out to her.
She further alleged that George paid for passports, visas, police clearances, and tickets for 30 Kenyans in full.
"Earlier this year, I posted an advert about job opportunities in Dubai. George personally reached out to support his people. Not for show. Not for PR. He paid for passports, visas, police clearances, and tickets in full for 30 young people who approached him for help," she shared.

The businesswoman said that George boarded the same flight with the job seekers to Dubai to ensure that they were alright.
"On the day they were flying out, he boarded the same aircraft with them. He wanted to be sure they were okay. He didn’t want publicity, he just wanted impact. When other celebrities were paying bloggers to tarnish my name, Captain George was quietly paying for lives to change," she said.
She claimed that George still follows up on the Kenyans who travelled to Dubai in search of jobs.
"To this day, he follows up on them. That’s real leadership. So yesterday, when youth came out in large numbers to celebrate Mood, I knew why. He’s not just relatable, he’s reachable," she added.
