The clip surfaced on social media and angered many Kenyans, who argued she was harassing the boys.
Geoffrey Mosiria demands equal protection for boy child
Mosiria posted the clip on Facebook and argued that if a man had done the same to schoolgirls, the matter would have blown out.
"Sometimes it’s hard to keep quiet when I see this kind of moral decay. If a boy child were making such a video, encouraging school girls to touch him inappropriately, the internet would be on fire, people demanding his arrest, calling it illegal, and Maendeleo ya Wanawake would be leading the outcry. But now, a woman records herself encouraging school boys to touch her inappropriately, yet nothing is done. The boy child has been neglected and forgotten. For the sake of these young men, where is Maendeleo ya Wanaume? Why is their protection being ignored? Mosiria wrote.
Which section of law did viral lady break?
He stated that the lady had broken the law and should be punished.
"This woman has violated the Sexual Offences Act (Cap 62 of the Laws of Kenya), which criminalises sexual abuse, exploitation, and any form of indecent acts involving minors, including encouraging children to engage in sexual activity or producing obscene material involving minors. Such conduct is illegal and warrants immediate arrest and prosecution," Mosiria continued.
He added that he would have taken action against the lady if he had been at Uhuru Park on that day.
"I wish I were at Uhuru Park that day (being one of the facilities I manage), she would have known the law exists and that consequences follow. Let’s not keep quiet, good people. We are losing our society’s moral compass. We must protect all children, boys and girls alike and call out abuse regardless of who the offender is," he concluded.
