The lovebirds held their traditional wedding in Kasipul constituency, Homa Bay county, on Saturday, July 19. The couple's family, friends and colleagues graced the beautiful event.

How much did Cleophas Oluoch pay for dowry?

In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, the talented media personality, MC and voice-over artist revealed that he paid cows and a goat as part of the dowry.

"I took 10 cows, and I was allowed to take her. I also gave one goat as per the Luo traditions," he shared.

When asked how much he gave, Oluoch pleaded the Fifth. The couple's wedding comes barely three years after their introduction ceremony, which happened in 2022.

The father of one revealed that their parents are very supportive, thanking them for always being there for them.

Asked if they would hold a white wedding, he said:

"We will be having a white wedding soon and plan to finish having kids and focus on raising our family and careers."

Where did Cleophas Oluoch meet his wife?

The celebrated Ramogi presenter revealed they met in campus in 2017.

"It was in March, a few days before my birthday. During the cake-cutting session, I was asked who I wanted to do it with, and I mentioned Caroline's name. After that, rumours started and later, we became an item," he recalled.

Adding:

"We graduated in 2020. This is our eighth year together since we met."

Cleophas Oluoch on successful marriage

The media personality, who is in his late 20s, said communication is key in relationships.

"We have to be very intentional in all that we do. I have so many groups I belong to other groups apart from work, and we talk it out with my wife. Anytime I know we have a meeting with I inform her. So having it open in our conversations and honesty, that's what we believe in."

Advising young couples, he said:

"Don't rush to get married, get some time to get to know who you're dating because that helps grow your bond."
