Ababu Namwamba Proud As Son Joins International Racing Championship In UK: "Champe"

Namwamba, Kenya’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Nairobi and the UN Environment Programme, recently announced the next step in Cheche’s motorsport journey.

The teenager will take part in the upcoming round of the Motorsport UK Junior Rallycross Championship at the Pembrey Circuit in Wales.

At just 14, Cheche already holds the title of double champion in the Kenya National Cadet Junior Buggy class, having excelled in both rallycross and autocross.

He began racing at the age of five through GP Karting and has steadily built a name for himself in local motorsport circles.

His upcoming international debut will see him team up with Peter Gwynne Motorsport, a group known for nurturing junior talent.

The team has previously worked with rising stars like Norway’s Ole Henry Steinsholt and Latvia’s Roberts Vitols.

Namwamba shared the news online, proudly tagging the post with “Champeee #TeamCheche.”
