"Speak up, mother," he said, while hitting her on the cheek.

The woman, seemingly heavily burdened, slowly spoke up, and the impatient preacher shouted, urging her to speak louder.

"When people give offerings, I usually don't have any, and I feel very awful," she said.

Ng'ang'a swiftly moved on to the next person, and the woman said she needed a child.

A young man was next, and when Ng'ang'a asked him what the issue was, he hesitated. The preacher slapped the young man, who reached out to hold his hand.

"My dad's brother is the one making me wander..." he said.

Ng'ang'a interrupted and moved on to the next person, another young man.

"I am just giving up in life. Naskia kujitoa uhai," Ng'ang'a asked him to repeat, and he did.
"Why?" the preacher asked.
"There is no peace at home," he said.

It seemed Ng'ang'a's patience was running out as one woman with a baby on her back barely spoke before Ng'ang'a interrupted her.

"I came with my mother..." she said before he cut her off.

Ng'ang'a then told off a woman whom he accused of wanting financial assistance, before praying for another who said she felt things moving in her stomach.
