KK Mwenyewe: Content Creators Help Woman Who Fainted after Viewing Comedian's Body

It was an emotional moment for a woman who arrived at Uphome Funeral Home to send off comedian Zakaria Kariuki, alias KK Mwenyewe, who died while undergoing treatment.

KK had been privately battling illness for years, but he managed to get treatment each time he fell sick.
His best friend Kafengo narrated that he died beside him in the hospital while on the line waiting for treatment.
How did woman react to seeing KK Mwenyewe's body?
Friends and some family members arrived at the morgue to take his body for burial scheduled at his mother's home in Lari constituency.

They held a mass as the priest prayed over his soul and offered comforting words to those present.
During the viewing, a woman could not hold her emotions as she started wailing before losing strength and 'fainting'.
It took content creators who were present to carry her outside as she lay on their shoulders, awaiting first aid.
It's unconfirmed if she was a friend of the comedian or a family member, as only a few relatives were at the morgue.

Who fundraised for KK's burial?
A day ago, TUKO.co.ke featured the comedian's memorial that was attended by top comedians and content creators.
They made pledges on how much they were contributing to support KK's family even as they prepared to lay him to rest.
Eddie Butita offered KSh 20,000 and called for unity in the entertainment industry during his moving speech.
Dennis Itumbi also gave out KSh 100,000 and revealed that the president had offered KSh 1 million to the grieving family.
Others who contributed included Lari MP, Kahangara Mburu, Kimani Ichungwa, MCAs and Nakuru governor Susan Kihika.
What did Rigathi Gachagua say about KK?
Former deputy president Gachagua wrote a touching tribute to celebrate KK as an excellent content creator.
He sent his message of condolences to his friends and family and noted how the comedian impacted the lives of many.
However, his tribute attracted backlash from people who asked why he never bothered to meet him when he was still alive.
