A Tanzanian forex trader has potentially sparked the next online war between his country and Kenya following his controversial remarks.

Chief Godlove is known for flaunting his wealth on social media and making inflammatory statements.

In a recent interview, Godlove claimed that all Kenyans are poor.

He dismissed any comparison between Kenyans and Tanzanians, stating that Kenyans face hardship, hunger, and widespread unemployment, with many youths allegedly turning to crime for survival.

Godlove went further by making offensive comments, claiming that Tanzanians are financially better off, with even the poorest able to afford basic needs.

He boasted that he could buy wealthy Kenyan youths and make them serve as his pets. His statements sparked backlash online, with many Tanzanians distancing themselves from his sentiments and criticising his harsh generalisations.

Are Kenyans youth lazy?

Godlove is back at it again, reiterating his earlier remarks about buying young Kenyans while accusing them of being lazy.

“I plan on buying all the young Kenyan people who don't want to work. The youth in Kenya are lazy. The only thing they like doing is chewing miraa.
"Can you imagine that they complain about the price of maize flour increasing? Let them come over so we can help them. I will buy them so that they can come here and eat.”

His remarks irked some Kenyans, but others dismissed them as a desperate attempt to gain publicity.
