The Mugithi singer has been sharing photos and videos proving he is a great father to his children and is enjoying parenthood.

Samidoh has been away from work since May 20 and is expected to return to the country ahead of his July 26 homecoming event.

Before he left for the US, Samidoh had released a song praising Gachagua, just days after visiting the deputy president Kithure Kindiki's residence.

Why was Samidoh redeployed to ASTU Gilgil?

On May 28, the media reported that disciplinary action was taken against the musician after a video of him leading revellers in chanting 'wantam' (one term) went viral.

Wantam is a slogan used by Ruto's opponents who claim he will be a one-term president and won't be re-elected for a second term in 2027.

The musician-turned-police officer was then transferred to the Administration Police's Anti-Stock Theft Unit (ASTU) in Gilgil, Nakuru county, as part of his punishment.

The media further reported that the father of five would face a disciplinary probe.

Did Samidoh's daughter say tutam?

The singer shared a photo posing with his three children he sired with his wife Edday, with a caption about parenthood.

In the photo, Samidoh held his eldest daughter, Shirleen and son, Michael, on their shoulders with the youngest daughter, Nimu, standing in front of her dad.

The young family were all smiles as they posed for photos, but it was Nimu's pose that caught the attention of netizens.

The three-year-old made a two-finger up sign, forming a V shape.

The sign has different meanings depending on context, and it means peace or victory. But for Kenyans, the sign has become a tutam slogan.

Netizens flocked Samidoh's photo, with some making fun of him, claiming that despite him supporting wantam, his daughter is on the opponent's side.

They claimed Nimu meant tutam, supporting Ruto's re-election. However, others opined that the little girl's pose had nothing to do with the anti-government 'wantam' sign.

Some fans hilariously asked Samidoh to inform his daughter about wantam slogan.
