Long before the flashy cars and designer outfits, Khaligraph Jones, alias Brian Robert Ouko, was just a young rapper from Kayole trying to put his name on the map.

He shot to fame after dropping early hits like Mazishi and Yego, quickly establishing himself as the lyrical powerhouse Kenya did not know it needed.

3. Catherine Kamau

Catherine Kamau, fondly known as Kate Actress, first became a household name as Charlie’s wife, Selina, on Mother-in-Law, a role that aired back when Sunday family TV nights were still a staple in Kenyan households.

Back then, she rocked a more laid-back, youthful look and was known for her slim figure and naive character.

The popularity of the show opened doors to more acting roles and brand ambassadorships.

What started as a fun TikTok challenge in 2020 turned into a life-changing moment when she danced to Mejja and Femi One’s hit Utawezana.

The video went viral overnight, making her a national sensation.

Since then, Azziad has evolved into a full-time content creator, influencer, and even radio presenter.

Her glow-up has been impossible to ignore, from a simple, naive girl to a stylish woman travelling in business class, rocking designer fits, and mingling with the who and who.
