Mavela's Family Discloses Burial Date, Venue: "He's an Orphan"

Fans of the famous matatu conductor Wizzy Mavela, who died in a tragic road accident on Friday, July 18, held a candlelighting event to honour him.

The event was held at Quiver Eastlands club, where fans turned up in large numbers to celebrate the young, passionate conductor popularly known as Canadian Boy. Mavela died aged 32.
Fans of Mavela honoured him with glowing tributes during the event.
"Tonight, @quiverlounge_eastlands, we light a candle for those we carry in silence. 🕯️. Wizzy Mavela, forever missed. Forever loved," Rastyle Republik posted.
Where will Mavela be buried?
Mavela's family member took to social media to mourn him with a touching tribute, reminiscing about the great moments they shared.
Mueni painfully mourned Mavela, admitting that she was yet to come with his loss.
Mueni, who had earlier referred to Mavela as her blood brother, later came out to clarify that they were cousins but grew up as siblings. She revealed Mavela was a total orphan.
"We raised together with him by my mum since he had no parents, so we grew up as sister and brother, his biological sister ako but very young and she is not able to talk online about all this 🙏🫂," she said.
Sharing a poster of Mavela, she accompanied it with a heartbreaking message that read:
"Still in disbelief, but we have to let your soul rest💔💔💔😭."
Asked where Mavela would be buried, she said:
"He will be buried on Saturday, July 26 in Mang'u Gatundu North constituency, Kiambu county.

Where was KK Mwenyewe buried?
In a separate story, beloved content creator Zakaria Kariuki, aka Mr KK Mwenyewe, was laid to rest in an emotional burial ceremony.
The 26-year-old was buried at his family home in Gathiroini village, Lari constituency, Kiambu county.

Fans and fellow content creators from different parts of the country turned up in large numbers to pay their last respects to the comedian, who was described by many as talented, kind, humble and inspirational.
KK's family were overwhelmed by emotions, and his mother at some point almost fainted after throwing soil in her son's grave.
