Speaking to the Rising Stars at State House in Nairobi, Ruto shared a personal anecdote about his son, who is a football enthusiast and has been encouraging him to focus on improving the sport in Kenya.

In a recent interview, the female interviewer observed that George, who sponsors football tournaments, had arrived quite early for a match.

“I was the first one to arrive,” he said.

The young lady then asked George what his expectations for the game were.

“It’s our last home game, and we anticipate three points. I see we are a goal ahead already, and it’s the first half; we are looking good.”

George mentioned that the players were playing well and hoped they would thrash the opposing team.

The video elicited mixed reactions on social media, with many Kenyans commenting that George is down-to-earth despite being the son of Kenya’s most powerful man.

Others predicted a bright future for him, urging him to join politics.
