Nairobi: Kenyan musician Bahati has offered a reward to whoever stole his cap during a recent event in Nairobi.

Bahati was stunned after a recent event where fans mobbed him. It was unclear why he had not travelled with security.

How did fans mob Bahati?

The musician shared a video where Kenyans rocking reflector jackets struggled to access him.

Bahati was wearing a cap that he claims was a special gift and was signed by the late basketball player Kobe Bryant.

The musician, known for his clout-chasing antics, offered KSh 50,000 to whoever would return the cap.

He also claimed he lost one of his diamond earrings, worth KSh 100,000.

Bahati was heard asking his security whether they could also offer a reward for the earrings, but the security man noted that it was futile.

Will Bahati retrieve his cap?

The aspiring politician told his security team that he felt unsafe and wondered why he could not protect himself during the scuffle.

"Manze my cap, Nick. That cap blends well with all my outfits. I am not safe. Even my earrings guys. You know these are diamond earrings," Bahati said
"Don't worry we will get it. You cannot get the diamond earrings, maybe the cap, that I can assure you," the security guy responded.

The musician noted that he was still the ghetto president in another video.

"Oh wow, I've just noticed I don't have my cap... who snatched my hat? I am still the ghetto president ๐Ÿ‘‘ ๐Ÿ‘‘ ๐Ÿ‘‘ On the ground, it's tough love."

In another lengthy video, Bahati was seen running for his dear life as some of the youths followed him in hot pursuit.
