Ailing barber Samuel Kilonzo, popularly known as Kitiki Sam, has received a boost in his ongoing battle against stage three stomach cancer.

The UN Cancer Clinic has stepped in to assist him with the costs of his treatment.
This help will offer much-needed relief as he continues his chemotherapy sessions.
How much was Kitiki Sam aiming to raise?
Sam has been courageously fighting cancer while undergoing daily shots costing him KSh 2,800 and chemotherapy sessions priced at KSh 34,000 each.

He previously revealed the financial burden his treatment was placing on him.
He had stated that his medical bills were approaching KSh 1 million, a sum he struggled to manage on his own.
Will Kitiki Sam be treated for free?
However, in a recent announcement, Sam shared the good news that the UN Cancer Clinic would fully cover his treatment expenses, as well as his food.
"Good news, I have been accepted into the UN Cancer Clinic, and all my treatment and food will be fully taken care of," Sam shared with his fans on social media.
He also expressed his gratitude to Kenyans who stood by him.
"I thank everyone who supported me," he added.

He is still pursuing his goal of opening his own barbershop.
In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, Sam expressed his determination to make this dream a reality.
"Now more than ever, I want to open that barbershop. I want to help people. If we get someone to fund it, I know God will come through," he said. "I want this to be a reference point of what God is doing."
