The celebrated Mugithi star returned to a packed crowd at a popular Nairobi joint to celebrate the success of his UK and US tours.

As expected, the singer delivered an electrifying performance, treating fans to his catalogue of hit songs.

However, it was not just the music that stole the spotlight; it was the bold political undertones that accompanied it.

As the energy peaked, Samidoh once again stirred controversy by intertwining politics with performance.

He kicked things off with the now-familiar 'Wantam' chant, a phrase widely used by Kenyans who believe President William Ruto’s administration should only serve a single term.

The chant has grown in popularity as a symbol of rising public frustration.

Then came the moment that shook the venue.

Videos seen by TUKO.co.ke show revellers loudly chanting 'Ruto Must Go', a direct jab at the current regime, and one heavily associated with the opposition.

This is not the first time Samidoh has engaged in such chants.

In a previous incident, he was transferred to the Gilgil Anti-Stock Theft Unit after being filmed leading similar chants at a separate event.

However, this time, the Toxic Love hitmaker took things a step further.

Shortly after the Wantam chants, Samidoh launched into a lively performance of Kasongo Yeye, a classic hit originally popularised by the Super Mazembe band.

Fans erupted with excitement as Samidoh danced joyfully on stage, smiling as he performed the song many now associate with mocking the president.
