The viral video of an altercation between Sharleen Wambui, a nominated MCA from Murang’a county, and Samuel Ireri, an aspiring politician eyeing the Embu Senate seat, has elicited mixed reactions.

It has prompted responses from two parties involved, but the third is yet to react.

The incident occurred during Mugithi singer Samidoh's much-anticipated homecoming event on Saturday, July 26, at a popular Nairobi joint.

What happened at Samidoh's homecoming?

It went viral after a heated exchange turned physical.

The event had initially kicked off smoothly, with the Mugithi star delivering an electrifying show, much to the excitement of his fans.

Midway through the show, Samidoh invited a group of close friends from his recent US tour to join him on stage, among them Ireri.

However, things took a dramatic turn after Ireri stepped off the stage and found himself in a confrontation with Sharleen.

The cause of the altercation is still not clear, but the verbal exchange soon escalated into a physical fight, leaving revellers stunned.

Kevin Shaban, an aspiring MP for Roysambu, was caught in the middle as he tried to separate the two.

Both Shaban and Sharleen have addressed the situation.

How did Kevin Shaban respond to fight video?

Taking to social media, Shaban, who was seen attempting to defuse the situation, reacted.

The aspiring politician claimed he had been wrongly accused and misjudged.

He also claimed that the video was an AI-generated fake.

“Relaxed, recharged, wrongly accused and misjudged by rumours. Enyewe AI videos are getting out of hand,” Shaban noted in his post.

What did Sharleen Wambui say about fight video?

On her part, Sharleen, who is First Daughter Charlene Ruto's best friend, posted her reaction on Facebook.

Judging from the post, she was unbothered by the drama.

She simply stated: "War is war."

She added another post, denying being the lady in the video, claiming she couldn't even hurt a fly.

"IA or is it AI should be regulated in Kenya because those videos are not real. I can’t even hurt a fly, but all the same, war is war!"

Her post also elicited massive reactions from fans, who wanted her to address the issue directly.

Seemingly unbbothered by the video, the vocal politician has been going on with her usual duties and sharing news about top government officials as if nothing happened.
