For former Tahidi High actress Nyaboke Moraa, the wound remains as raw as ever, one year after the passing of her eldest daughter, Marie Achieng.

On the exact day she passed, Moraa took to social media to share an emotional tribute in her honour.

She posted a photo of Achieng smiling broadly, accompanied by a heartbreaking caption that read:

Acheing, who passed away at only 19 years, was Moraa's daughter with X influencer Blak Aende.
Her burial was held on August 10, and the family chose not to disclose the cause of her death.
In the days and months following Achieng's untimely death, Moraa confessed that her world came crashing down.
She revealed that she struggled to perform even the most basic daily tasks and often found herself confined to her room, overwhelmed by grief.
The pain was so deep that she turned to a drastic measure, using it as a way to numb the emotional turmoil.

Can Nyaboke Moraa go to therapy?
Previously, Moraa dismissed suggestions to try therapy, saying she does not see its use.
She joked that she would rather use the money to buy milk instead.
