Viral TikTok couple VJ Patello and Diana have opened up about their love story, days after their lavish wedding.

The couple had fun moments at their dramatic wedding that left many questioning who they are and where they got the money to splash on such an exquisite event.

During an interview, Patello revealed that he proposed to his woman in 2024 at Safari Park Hotel.

He also admitted that the reason he decided to marry Diana was because of how he felt about her.

"I engaged her. At Safari Park. If you follow Wakudumu well, you will know. It was in April last year. It's not a soft side, I know her. I acknowledged her and she said yes. Not just now, she did that a long time ago," he said.

Diana narrated that they had gone for a weekend staycation when he went on one knee to propose.

"We always do that. It was a staycation. I did not know he was going to propose," she said.

Their proposal video has also emerged online, showing Diana in a long green dress as she stood waiting for her man to slide the ring on her finger.

Patello wore a red t-shirt and his signature neck chains, which he matched with faded denim jeans.

He went on one knee to propose, and as soon as Diana said yes, he stood and gave her a warm hug as they laughed out.
