Anerlisa Muigai, the daughter of Nakuru Senator Tabitha Karanja, has taken decisive action following an online dispute with Vera Sidika.

It all began when Sidika shared screenshots suggesting Anerlisa briefly followed her on social media before quickly unfollowing.

The move sparked speculation, with Sidika questioning who was truly obsessed, claiming she doesn’t follow Anerlisa at all.

Anerlisa responded by explaining that the incident was a misunderstanding, as her nephew had been using her phone and had followed several celebrities across Kenya and Tanzania without her knowledge.
She later noticed and reversed the actions. Despite her explanation, Sidika dismissed it, accusing Anerlisa of dishonesty and calling her out for unfollowing too quickly for the story to be believable.
How did Anerlisa end beef?
In an update, Anerlisa sought to end the back-and-forth, telling off those following her, hoping to get gossip.
“I think I gained 1,000 more followers yesterday. If you followed me to get gossip, unfollow quickly.”
The entrepreneur said that she had a lot to protect in her life.
“I have a lot to guard in my life.”
She listed her family business, her own business, and her mother, the senator. Anerlisa noted that her husband is also averse to drama.
"Those who have come across my partner know that he never allows nonsense and drama around him, which is why I have been living a private and quiet life. So, gossip cannot be entertained here.”

She further stated that she is focusing her energy on building a legacy.
“I am 37 years old, and I should be focusing on working consistently to leave a legacy. I don’t want to wake up one day to realise that all I had with me was just social media followers.”
