The lovebirds tied the knot in a flashy wedding on Saturday, July 26, at the Naiposha in Tigoni, along Limuru Road, Kiambu county.
The nature of Patelo and Diana's wedding is what got many talking for days.
From tipsy groomsmen, no bridal team, no DJ on site, alcoholic drinks topping the menu, the wedding was one of a kind.
The couple's wedding was attended by a few family members and their friends, who kept the mood alive. Diana's three children also attended the wedding.
The rowdy, tipsy guests, led by Patelo's groomsmen, led in gospel songs as he walked down the aisle moments just before exchanging vows with Diana.
Did VJ Patelo's parents attend his wedding?
A video of Patelo's parents walking him down the aisle went viral. The groom wore a tuxedo suit, black shoes and accessorised the look with several silver chains.
"All the time?" Patelo's mum, dressed in a stylish long brown dress and matching headgear, greeted the guests.
"God is good, and that is wow," the guests responded amid cheers.
She then proceeded.
"Karibuni nyinyi wote. Kwa majina ni (Welcome all. My name is) Caroline Akinyi Ochieng kwetu ni Migori (I'm from Migori). Be free today," she said amid cheers.

VJ Patelo tells off critics age-shaming Diana
After the wedding, the artiste took to social media to slam netizens claiming his wife is old.
"She is my wife, not yours," he said, warning critics to stay away.
In an interview with Radio Jambo, Patelo also told off idlers meddling in their marriage.
"It's none of their business. They are busy in the comment section giving us nonsensical advice, yet we didn't ask for it. We are not bothered by comments. Mind your own business and stop investing too much time in my relationship," he said.
Asked how her parents feel about the relationship, Diana said they are okay as she professed love for her man.
"I love my husband. Kenyans, pray for us we live happily," the mother of three calmly said.
Diana said she reads comments on social media and laughs them off. Asked if it is true he is being kept by Diana, as a section of netizens claimed, Patelo said:
"Let everyone mind their business. Only the two of us know the truth."
How much did VJ Patelo spend on wedding?
In another story, Patelo stunned Kenyans when he revealed he spent KSh 500 million on his wedding.
The cash covered the car convoys, venue, décor, food, photography costs, just to mention a few.
During an interview with Oga Obinna, the 26-year-old said his tuxedo suit cost him KSh 1.7 million, while Diana's stylish wedding gown, imported from Dubai, cost KSh 1.6 million.
Patelo revealed he spent KSh 2.2 million on his ten groomsmen, named Wepesi Gang.
The couple did not stop at the outfits. The internet sensation also revealed he spent KSh 1.5 million on their gold wedding rings.
If you think that was too much, Patelo disclosed that his silver chains cost KSh 4.2 million.
Patelo claimed that their cake was imported from Dubai, too.
