Observers noted that the president’s son opened the car door for her, seemingly speaking to the driver before she got in, a gesture many found both respectful and charming.

The footage has sparked plenty of reactions, with fans praising George's humility and wondering why he is often seen moving without a visible security detail.

On the same night, a driver captured George with his ride at the same spot. While the woman boarded a white vehicle, George was seen conversing with a man in a white shirt.

After speaking to the man at length, George boarded the SUV and left the scene.

How many matatus does George Ruto own?

The president's son owns Mood, Matrix and Money Fest fancy matatus.

The PSVs, which operate along the Embakasi route, are among Nairobi's hottest and operate under the name Raptor Family.

From Money Fest to Mood, the matatus have been grabbing headlines for both good and controversial reasons.

Mood, the latest purchase, recently made headlines on the day it was launched at the KICC grounds in Nairobi. Thousands braved the rain as they enjoyed music during the launch.

Famous driver Lenny, who previously drove the Matrix matatu, is now the driver of the new Mood.

The new matatu causing ripples online is fitted with a DJ deck, a 65-inch TV screen, solar panels, a refrigerator, plush bucket seats and ample dancing space.

Money Fest, which hit the streets in mid-2024, has, in the past, found itself on the wrong side of the law.

In January, Money Fest's license plates were removed by the NTSA after it was recklessly driven.

A video showing Money Fest and another matatu, Kratos, breaking the law went viral, forcing the police to take action.

The two drivers, Dominic Anaya alias Kihara and John Mwangi, were arraigned at the Kibera Law Courts on Friday, January 10.

They were charged with driving unroadworthy vehicles and pleaded guilty to the charges and were fined KSH 50,000 or face six months in jail.
