Kisumu is in mourning following the sudden demise of Mista Ade Ade, the renowned CEO of House of Funk, an entertainment and production company.

According to reports, the respected businessman suffered a medical emergency while driving his children.
Witnesses say he pulled over along the road before collapsing inside the vehicle.

An ambulance was quickly dispatched, but despite efforts by medics, Ade was pronounced dead.

Tributes have continued to pour in from friends, colleagues, and former clients, with many describing him as a visionary.
Among them is King Kaka, who said Ade was instrumental in his success. The rapper shared a photo with Ade, noting that he guided him when he was still a budding musician.
How did celebrities mourn Mista Ade Ade?
“Not my godfather. Ade is no more! Life is fickle! This man changed my life in ways I cannot believe I am writing a death post about him.
We became instant friends and later my godfather, since 2007 when I was Chiwawa’s backup rapper, guiding me in life in ways only he, me, and God know. Go well, godfather,” King Kaka wrote.
Gidi Gidi, a musician turned radio presenter, said that Ade was an instrumental promoter in Kisumu.
“You mean Mista Ade Ade of House of Funk has died? The first promoter to book us in Kisumu at a sold-out concert. RIP, bro, it’s that age we are burying our generation, sad.”

In other news, renowned reggae hypemaster John Maina, popularly known as MC Fullstop, passed away after a prolonged battle with tuberculosis.
He rose to fame for hyping reggae shows on television and became a familiar voice on recorded mixes.
