An audio of Karangu Muraya in a conversation with a woman believed to be Tata Essy, talking about his first wife, Triza, has irked netizens.

In the leaked audio, Essy was allegedly talking to Karangu about how Triza was walking around wearing worn-out undergarments.
Essy, while talking to Karangu, informed him of what she and her other friend, Esther Baumbach, were discussing about Triza.
In the conversation, Essy described how Triza had no good inner garments when she came to Nairobi after Karangu had abandoned her upcountry.
According to Purity Macharia, Karangu, who was on a call with Essy, recorded the conversation about how Triza was wearing torn undergarments and forwarded it to his friends.
How did Triza react to the leaked audio?
Purity called out Karangu for leaking such details about the mother of his children. The influencer claimed she had only leaked a quarter of the private conversations.
"I have seen women record conversations, but a man doing it is ridiculous! That was lower than low!" Purity said.
Commenting on Purity's post, Triza expressed her uttermost shock
"Ngai (Gosh)!"
Triza further asked Purity to share everything on social media so that people could know what was being said about her behind her back.
"Purity Nduta Macharia usifichilie kitu weka yote (please share everything)," Triza said.

Influencers and netizens sympathised with Triza, slamming her Karangu and her friends for bad-mouthing her instead of protecting her.
Reacting to Karangu's leaked audio, businesswoman Dama recalled her previous scandal, when someone recorded her phone conversation and leaked it.
"I thought the recording of private conversation ended na ya wa Mutembei juu yangu ilkuwa internationaliiii🫢, not locally😃.Hamkusoma na wamutembei? Muthoni AKA Baby Top mtu akikupigia usishike, atume message," she said.
Muthoni Baby Top reacted with crying emojis.
Tabby Wa Viviane said:

Did Esther Baumbach apologise to Triza?
Purity, who shared the audio tagged Baumbach on her post, informed her that Karangu recorded her conversation with Tata Essy.
Baumbach took to Facebook to apologise to Triza, praying she finds peace in her heart and forgives her.
"Triza Mamake Muraya, I owe you an apology. From the bottom of my heart, I am sorry juu ya kukuita ivio. I take full responsibility and accept my mistake. I should have known someone was leading me on by saying words that I echoed back, but well yakimwagika hayazoleki. I hope you find peace. Never intended to hurt you," she said.
Why did Triza leave Tata Essy's house?
In May, after a successful album launch event, Triza moved out of Tata Essy's house, where she had been staying since arriving in Nairobi early this year.
Essy took to social media to narrate how she helped Triza when her husband abandoned her, housed her, but later she moved out without even informing her.
The Akorino TikToker accused Triza of ghosting her after moving out of her famous "bedsitter" saying in case anything happened to her, she wouldn't be responsible.
