MC Fullstop, who passed away on Friday, August 1, after a long and painful battle with lung tuberculosis, was mourned especially within the Kenyan music scene.

In a statement shared through the late MC Fullstop's official social media accounts, his family expressed sorrow over his death and thanked fans and well-wishers for the support they have shown during this difficult time.

The family acknowledged the grief surrounding the loss of a man who brought light, laughter, and unforgettable energy to those around him.

“We are heartbroken by the loss of our beloved MC Fullstop, also known as John Maina. A man who brought light, laughter, and unforgettable energy to everyone around him. As we come together to honour and lay our beloved MC Fullstop to rest, we kindly ask for your support during this difficult time. Your help means everything right now,” the family wrote in their official statement.

How can one donate towards MC Fullstop's funeral?

To facilitate the donations, the family set up an official M-Pesa paybill number and called for supporters to contribute whatever they could.

The number shared for contributions is 6624502 under the account name MC FULLSTOP Funeral Fund.

The family cautioned against using any other numbers, ensuring that the donations would go directly toward funeral arrangements and supporting the family.
