Socialite Amber Ray's partner, Kennedy Rapudo, has responded to claims he took a woman to dinner.

A woman had posted a blurry photo of herself featuring Rapudo and claimed the businessman had taken her on a date.

"Yesterday, I was taken to dinner by Amber's husband. Evidence kwa kalatas," the lady wrote as she shared the image, which was captured secretly without Rapudo's knowledge.

In response, Rapudo denied the claims and explained he had simply helped a group park their car in Lavington.

"I've stayed off social media. Not because I'm blind to what's being said, but because I've chosen peace over pettiness. But sometimes silence just gives liars space to get comfortable. So let me make this clear: Yesterday, I was adding pressure to my tires when a group asked me to help them park. Out of nothing but basic decency, I helped," said Rapudo.

On this, Rapudo clarified:

"One of them tried to take a selfie - I politely declined and even made it clear I wasn't interested. No flirting, no exchange, nothing beyond helping. And now I'm hearing stories that I took someone to dinner? This is exactly why people withdraw. I've tried to be kind, respectful, and calm, but when kindness is twisted into a narrative I never wrote - I shut the door. I won't defend myself again. If helping people is now a gateway for lies, I'll keep my energy to myself. From here on, I move differently," he explained.

Rapudo posts screenshots of private chats

He also shared his texts with one of the group members, who had DMed him to thank him for helping them park their car.

After one of the ladies made the claims, Rapudo texted the lady who had DMed her to ask about the alleged dinner claims.

As seen in the screenshot, Rapudo asked:

"Who did I take for dinner exactly? You found me parking my car and you asked if I could help you guys park yours! Your friends asked for a selfie and I refused. Why would you lie that I took you to dinner?"

The lady apologised and explained that she was not the one who had made these claims.

In her words:

"I'm sorry, this is not me. I didn't ask for a selfie. I'm the lady who was sitting on the passenger seat. I think the other lady who was taking a selfie with you is the one who is lying."

Angry Rapudo went ahead to ask for the lady's number:

"If you don't send her number, I will screenshot this conversation and post it. That's your friend, so if you protect her, that is on you! She is your friend, you were in the same car," he wrote.

Afraid of what could follow, the lady then sent her friend's number and Instagram account, apologising to Rapudo.

"Please, I beg you, I am so innocent, I never knew she recorded you because I was inside the car. I am also in a relationship, and I respect people's privacy. Please, I sent you her details. I am innocent. Sorry for everything," she apologised.
