YY Comedian, whose real name is Oliver Otieno, has shared a post for the first time since his ex, Marya Okoth, got married.

She tied the knot with lawyer, Jack Okula, on Sunday, August 3, in Sigomre, Ugunja Constituency, Siaya County.
The couple's lavish wedding was attended by close family members and friends. Photos from the couple's nuptials were shared online by their guests, congratulating them and wishing them a happy marriage.

The two were blessed with a beautiful girl in January 2022, and after close to four years together, they went their separate ways.
On September 5, 2024, Marya took to social media to announce that they had parted ways and were successfully co-parenting.
He admitted that, like any other relationship, they had their ups and downs. In their statement, they shared that they were parting ways due to unavoidable circumstances.
After the breakup, YY moved on quickly with social media influencer Noela Toywa, but their relationship lasted less than four months.

The comedian and content creator broke his silence by posting a video promoting the upcoming Luo Festival event.
The father of one in the short clip, together with content creators Sandra Dacha and Nick Kwach, danced to the famous Atoti hit by Gidi Gidi Maji Maji.

Is YY happy for his ex?
In an interview with Milele FM, the father of one said he was happy for his ex, wishing her the best.
YY told people to let the newlyweds enjoy and stop saying negative things about them, saying he wouldn't want his ex to be miserable.
The content creator asked fans not to drag him into his ex's business, saying if his wife was happy, then their daughter would also be happy.
"Let people enjoy the happiness that they are exploring, and life continues. I am happy for them 100 %. This is the mother of my child, and any happiness towards her reflects on my child. I would not want the mother of my child to have a miserable life. If she finds happiness, so be it, who cares, let people be happy," he said.

Who is Marya Okoth's husband?
