Trev was confirmed dead on August 1, and his family announced that he died after a short illness.

He had earned a name in the automotive industry due to his vast knowledge of automobiles, which earned him a spot on TV.

How did Big Boy Trev's dad find him?

In an interview, George shared that he tried to get his neighbour's nephew, a medical student, to help Trev at home.

"I found he had turned one side. I called him 'Trevor, Trevor, what is happening?' I tried to touch him, but nothing. Then his friends, his neighbour, has a nephew who is a medical student at the university. He came and said, 'Let us call other people to help us take him to the hospital'."

His friend Bennet also recalled his last conversation with Trev as he praised him for his passion for automobiles.

"The last discussion we had with him was whether Boeing was ever going to do away with the yoke and deploy the joystick like Airbus. He told me, 'Boeing is so proud, they would not copy Airbus in any way'," he said.

How did Kenyans mourn MC Fullstop?

In a related report, renowned reggae hypemaster John Maina, alias MC Fullstop was also confirmed dead the same day as Trev.

He had been in the hospital seeking treatment after battling lung tuberculosis for over four years.

Celebrities, influencers and Kenyans recalled how Fullstop pioneered the hyping industry, as they shared their memorable moments.

They wrote moving tributes in his honour while sending words of comfort to his mourning family.

How did Kenyans help Fullstop?

The MC had at one point come out to ask for financial support so he could seek treatment.

He put out a paybill that saw many Kenyans come out in huge numbers to raise funds for him.

They also wished him a quick recovery and vowed to continue praying for his healing.
