Koku Lwanga Denies Claims Ex Daddie Marto Took Loan to Build Her Parents' House

Veteran actor Martin Githinji alias Daddie Marto's estranged wife Koku Lwanga has responded to his claims that he took a loan to build her mother a house.

The mother of three had come out in June to accuse Marto of assaulting her and claimed that he had moved on with another woman.

She also claimed that the actor had been making her pay rent if she wanted to continue living in the same house as him.

Her accusations led the TV commentator to come out and shut down the claims, adding that he was taking the legal route to solve their issues.

However, earlier, TUKO.co.ke featured Marto after putting out a statement alleging that he suffered financial damage after taking a loan to construct a house for Koku's parents.

He also noted how his estranged wife's allegations have destroyed his reputation and painted him as a violent man.

What did Koku Lwanga say about Marto's claims?

Koku shared a series of posts on her Instagram story where she denied claims that Marto used his money to build her parents a house.

She also broke down the amount of money that she had been paying him in an attempt to give him back what he used on her parents' home.

"It is so painful to see you mention my mother's house as the source of your financial woes. She truly does not deserve that. Knowing how she and my dad have come through for you even in times when you could not feed your family. My mother retired and gave you KSh 2.6 million, KSh 300,000 as well. My dad sent you 2000 dollars (KSh 258,000), not sure I will confirm. Leave alone the KSh 500,000 he had given you years before to support you as his son," she said.

Koku also alleged that Marto got conned by an unscrupulous construction person and lost a lot of money.

She added that her mum even pleaded with the actor to only do the most necessary things so they could move in and finish it slowly.

According to her, she gave Marto all her salary that she made from advertisement gigs because she saw how stressed and drained he was because of the construction.

Is Koku planning to fall in love?

Elsewhere, Koku recently vowed to never fall in love and get married again, leaving many to encourage her.

She was responding to a netizen who had asked her how long she wanted to take before they start asking her out.

According to her, she is now all about looking for money and rebuilding her life after being married for many years.
