Her remark quickly caught the attention of Kenyans online, sparking a wave of reactions.

Can Murugi Munyi cook ugali?

In Murugi’s case, the married influencer has admitted that she has no clue how to prepare ugali.

She posted a video of herself holding a device dubbed an ugali cooker, noting that it would be helpful in the kitchen.

“I want the option of being able to cook. The reality is that many times my husband will want ugali, and I don’t know how to cook it. I have never cooked ugali in my life, but I am about to learn how to," she said.

Her comments elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans on social media.
