How did Rose Muhando help Mark?
In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, Mark praised veteran Tanzanian singer Rose Muhando for being a blessing to his music career.
He revealed that the one project she did with Muhando elevated him.
"Rose Muhando is the gospel musician who supported me. She has been a mother to music, praying for me and teaching me a lot. Through the work we did with her, my ministry grew," the youthful musician said.

Are Kenyan gospel artistes selfish?
However, Mark slammed Kenyan gospel artistes, claiming they compete instead of supporting each other.
He also accused them of being jealous and labelled them sinners.
"Gospel singers don't support each other; they just compete. Their support is based on connections and not God's work. They are very jealous, and many hide behind the gospel. They are sinful people and have no God at all," Mak argued.
Mark spoke about his new song, Yesu Wastahili, which he claimed was inspired by a scripture.
In his words:
"The song Yesu Wasthalihi praises God. I got inspiration from Revelation 11. It says..the angels bow down and say Yesu Wasthalihi,..then I came up with the song."
Challenges in Mark's gospel music career
Mark also listed the common challenges he faces as a fast-rising gospel musician.
Topping the list is dealing with producers and malicious strikes on YouTube.
"Dealing with producers is not easy. When I released my first song, I got a strike from a producer. I signed deals with a music company that made money with my music, but I didn't receive any coin.
Just the other day, I released a new song and someone hacked my YouTube account and was blocking people from viewing it. Dealing with these challenges is hard," Mark said.
He mentioned Angela Chibalonza and Zahara as his role models.
"Angela Chibalonza's songs touched me when I was a child. I admired her relationship with God. Zahara is gifted," she added.
Did Rose Muhando's son play vixen in her song?
Previously, Muhando's son Maximilian Paul, better known as Simba, was surprised to learn he was in his mother's classic song, Amezaliwa Horini.
The young man was proud to remember the energetic dancing from the Amezaliwa Horini video.
Simba is a student of Geology and is a sophomore at the University of Dar es Salaam.
He also thanked Kenyans for supporting his celebrity mother and promised to visit Kenya.
