Davud Akhundzada visited a barbershop in Ngummo Estate and met Boniface Koskei, a barber.
He first asked around for a bit before finding the spot where Koskei said he charges KSh 100.
After getting shaved, Koskei said he would charge an extra KSh 100 for a massage.
How did Davud Akhundzada tip Kenyan barber?
“Thank you so much. So KSh 100 for the massage and KSh 100 for the haircut.”
The total charges were KSh 200, and Davud offered to pay so that all the other clients could also get haircuts. After quick maths, it totalled KSh 1,200.
“What was the biggest tip you’ve received here in 15 years?” Davud asked.
Koskei responded by saying that the largest amount of money he had received was KSh 1,500.
Davud then gave him KSh 2,000 and told him to keep the change, but he had another surprise in store for him.
“How many people are in your family?” the YouTuber asked.
“I have two kids and a wife,” the barber responded.
Davud then removed KSh 13,000 and handed it over to Koskei, urging him to spend the money on his family.
He urged Koskei to confirm the amount first.
“Keep the money for yourself,” he said and left.
