She also lamented that her mum has refused to attend her wedding, which will see her walk herself down the aisle.

"After being single, rejected, and traumatised because I am a single mum, finally God has opened the doors for me. The problem is that I will be walking down the aisle alone because my mum has refused to support me on this. And my sisters have also been told not to attend my wedding," she said.

Fataki also shared that she has tried to plead with her mum, including involving her aunties, to convince her to attend her wedding.

She also noted that she has a different father, unlike her other siblings, but her Congolese father passed away.

"It is very hurtful when you see a parent not standing with you. In our culture, my mum cannot take my dowry because she was not married, and my dad never paid her dowry. So it should be taken to my dad. And because I also have a family from Congo, they will be the ones taking it," she added.

How did Fataki meet her man?

The actress also claimed that she has been blocked by her other siblings because of constantly asking them to come to her wedding.

According to her, her aunt asked her to continue planning things regardless of whether her man would show up.

As for her man, she revealed that she met him while in her line of work, and they were friends for a long time.

"I was single for eight years. In my previous relationship, I used to be beaten like a dog. I moved out and got into acting. I joined Vioja Mahakami, and did adverts and worked with these legends, and that is how I got to meet my husband. He was an actor before he left for Qatar. We were good friends, we used to talk, and he would support me in whichever way he could, and the rest is history," she said.
