For Chellah, it was the death of her darling father, the beloved Citizen TV actor Papa Shirandula.
She shared a photo of the late actor holding his three children and another photo of herself five years later.
Chellah said she could not believe that it had been five years since their father passed away.
Losing their father still felt like a dream to them. She wrote:
"I can't believe It's been five years since he left us. Five years gone, yet it still feels like yesterday. Your laughter, your legacy, your light still with us, how you loved to drink porridge out of a plate. Papa Shirandula. Never forgotten forever missed."

When one Kenyan asked her what she would want him to tell her father, she said she would like for Shirandula to know they miss him.
“Watoto wake tunammiss."
An actor in the entertainment industry, Tony Sherman, in an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, noted that Shirandula was among the actors who made him pursue his passion.

What happened to Papa Shirandula?
The late actor passed away while at Karen Hospital in July 2020.
He had been quickly rushed to the hospital since he had trouble breathing.
Shirandula had COVID-19 after coming back from Kakamega county and chose to stay at home to avoid spreading it.
He went to the hospital when his condition got worse, but he died from the illness.
The late actor was buried within 48 hours because of pandemic restrictions.
His fellow cast member Jacky Vike, aka Awinja, later said that the quick burial took away the chance for many people to say goodbye properly.
Did Jalang'o promise to educate Shirandula's daughter?
In other news, a memorial was held in honour of the actor in 2021.
Attendees included Njoro and his on-screen wife Wilbroda, Wafirethi, Otos, Jalas, Kawira, Wilbroda 's niece Awinja, and Juma Anderson, who portrayed Shirandula's boss.
His wife and children were present, and Jalang'o and Captain Otoyo promised to cater for the kids' fees.
