Her brother described Jane as a kindhearted and selfless person who was dedicated to her family and community.

In an emotional interview with Citizen TV, her brother revealed that Jane was the family’s breadwinner and their only source of hope.

He spoke highly of her work ethic, calling her the most dedicated person he had ever known.

He also reflected on her role as a pillar for both her relatives and the community, always offering help and support where needed.

"She was a go-getter. Maybe God had planned that this was the way she would go," her brother said.

Born and raised in Butere, Jane was one of the passengers aboard the AMREF aircraft that crashed on Thursday, August 7.

Jane Omusula's kind deeds remembered

She was remembered by her brother as more than just a person, describing her as an "angel."

"I think she was not a real human being. She was like an angel because I can't help people like she did," he stated.

He recalled how Jane had lived a full and meaningful life, often offering guidance and assistance, even in matters of health.

"She was the only doctor in our family. If anyone was sick, she would help. I remember when I was ill, she advised me to go to Kenyatta National Hospital and see a specific doctor," he said.

Her brother reflected on the impact Jane had on their lives.

"We have lost somebody that we can't replace. We don't know whether it's God's plan, but we just don't know."

Who else died in Mwihoko plane crash?

Jane tragically lost her life alongside Captain Muthuka Munuve, Captain Brian Kimani Miaro, and Charles Mugo Njoroge when the Cessna Citation XLS aircraft (registration 5Y-FDM) crashed shortly after departing from Wilson Airport.

The AMREF plane was heading to Somalia, according to new reports.

The crash resulted in the death of all six people on board, as well as others on the ground.

Previously, medical doctor and social media influencer Amakove Wala penned an emotional tribute to Jane.

The Facebook influencer expressed her unease about the flight in her emotional post.

Shortly after, she shared another post that included a heartfelt tribute to Omusula, highlighting her grace in serving humanity.

Additionally, another Facebook influencer, Alinda Senje, wrote a heart-melting tribute to honour her friend, Jane.
