Bella Comedy: Video Showing Last Moments Before Content Creator was Assaulted by Pavilion Surfaces

A video of Bella Comedy, whose real name is Carren Chepchumba, moments before she was assaulted at Kutit Culture event has emerged.

The viral Kalenjin content creator was assaulted by a popular businessman, Pavilion Motiryot, during the event, which was held on Saturday, August 9, at Carnivore, Nairobi county.
What happened to Bella Comedy?
The content creator shared a video inside her house, after she had just dressed up, before she stepped out.
Bella wore a short, red, stylish dress, high heels, a white jacket and a black snapback. She made a video dancing to a popular Kalenjin hit and captioned it:
"Before the scenario 💔."

After arriving at the event, Bella was attacked by Pavilion, who rained bows and kicks on her.
In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, the content creator said she was hurt during the incident and had reported the matter to the police.
"Alinigonga kwa uterus hakuna watoto wamebaki. Sijui kama nitapata watoto (He tampered with my uterus. I don't know if I will ever have children)," she tearfully narrated during a TikTok live.
Bella, who lost her mum a year ago and is still grieving, left TikTokers sad after remembering her late parent.
"If my mum was here, it would have been better mzazi ni wa maana," she said.
In the video, the businessman claimed that Bella insulted him online, justifying why he was beating her.
What did netizens say after Bella Comedy's assault?
Kenyans, including Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi and gospel singer Emmy Kosgei, took to social media to call out Pavilion, demanding justice for Bella.

Was Pavilion Motiryot arrested?
In a separate story, Pavilion admitted beating Bella, claiming she insults him daily despite warning her to stop mentioning him in her content.
He said he approached Bella at the event to have a talk, but she started screaming, and that is when he beat her.
Photos of the businessman at a police station emerged online, and word had it that he would be presented in court after recording a statement at Central Police Station.
On Tuesday, August 12, Pavilion born, Bernard Kipkosgei, appeared before the Kibera Law Court's Principal Magistrate C.M. Njagi where he was charged with robbery with violence and assault.
Was there drama at Samidoh's homecoming event?
On Saturday, July 26, during Samidoh's homecoming event at a Nairobi nightclub, drama ensued.
Celebrities and fans showed up at the packed Nairobi joint to welcome the Mugithi singer, who had been missing in action back home.
While Samidoh was live on stage performing, a fight erupted between politicians Sharleen Wambui and Samuel Ireri.
The nominated Murang'a MCA and Embu MP were seen engaging in a physical altercation in the viral video as politician Kevin Shaban tried to separate them.
After the video went viral, Shaban and Sharleen reacted. Shaban claimed he had been wrongly accused and misjudged, claiming the video was AI-generated. Sharleen, on the other hand, shared a post insinuating she was unbothered.
Samidoh never responded to the drama at his event.
