This fuelled speculation that he was preparing to vie for the Ol Joro Orok parliamentary seat in 2027.
In addition, the singer was previously seen donating foodstuff to residents in the constituency, an act many interpreted as him laying political groundwork.
However, the narrative took an unexpected turn on Monday, August 10, when Samidoh appeared in court to testify in the mysterious death case of his cousin, Jeff Mwathi.
During cross-examination, lawyer Danstan Omari asked the singer whether he intended to run for any political seat in Nyandarua County in the upcoming elections.
The question was a strategic move by Omari as he made his argument in the case.
Samidoh’s response was clear and direct:
“So far, no.”
How did Netizens react to Samidoh's declaration?
The revelation left many loyal fans disappointed, especially those who had been eagerly anticipating his entry into politics.
