Gospel singer Triza Njeri has clapped back at fans who have been teasing her after a viral moment exposed her shaved head.

The singer, whose social media popularity has skyrocketed this year due to her recurrent drama with her husband, Karangu Muraya, recently travelled to Mombasa for a vacation following weeks of drama with him.
This came after a leaked audio emerged in which her husband was allegedly heard gossiping about her undergarments.

While enjoying her time at the beach, Triza wore a straw hat and hopped on a livestream to interact with her fans.

In the middle of the session, a gust of wind blew away her hat, briefly exposing her head before she quickly secured it back in place.
The clip, recorded by fans and widely shared online, sparked speculation as many were surprised to see her shaved head.
Some expressed awe, while others suggested she ditch her Akorino turban entirely, saying she looked beautiful without it.
How did Triza respond to fans teasing her shaved head?
Responding in a sarcastic yet humorous rant during another livestream, Triza addressed the jokes head-on.
“Kilemba tu ipewe heshima yake. You should also know that my head has never even basked in the sun. It has always been pressed by the turban for the past 34 years of my life. Even you who are telling me I look like Simple Boy, don’t you think all those years of wearing a turban would have an impact on my head? Hio kichwa si itakaa kama pawpaw ama maembe?” she quipped.
She added that after years of covering her head, it was by luck that her brains were not pressed, noting that she was not affected by the insults and jokes.
Triza also clarified that she has not always had a shaved head.
“I don’t sleep with my turban. I had long hair that reached my shoulders, but recently I decided to shave a box haircut to see how I’d look. By the time the guy who shaved me finished, I told him to return my hair because kumbe nakaanga vibaya hivi bila nywele? Now we just wait for it to grow back,” she explained.
